UPDATE: Clearance is now on MyAccount – (June 15/20)

Clearance letters for the July 1 – September 30 quarter are now available on MyAccount

We are no longer mailing paper clearance letters.

Employers who choose to defer premium payments will still receive a clearance letter, as long as you were in good standing as of the end of February 2020. For employers who still reported payroll while deferring payments, please note that it will take a few additional days for your letter to appear in MyAccount.

Please note, that the previous clearance letter is effective until June 30.

For questions on accessing your clearance letter call us at 1-800-870-3331 or visit support.wcb.ns.ca.

WCB Nova Scotia’s clearance process has gone completely digital and is now available on MyAccount. Employers can now access clearance letters, search for contractors and check their clearance status, when and where they need to.

Now, more than ever, having digital access to the information you need is important. The new digital clearance process and our other online services on MyAccount, will support the remote working environments to which so many Nova Scotians are adjusting.

To access the new digital clearance process, you will need to be registered for MyAccount, if you are not already.

Visit wcb.ns.ca/clearance to learn more about our new digital clearance process and how to register for MyAccount.

Clearance letters for the April 1 – June 30, 2020 quarter have been sent. All future clearance letters will only be available on MyAccount.
