Together with our partners at the Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Advanced Education, we’re starting some early conversations about the future of workers’ compensation in Nova Scotia.

As a first step, we’re talking to workers and employers who don’t have any protection from the financial impact of a workplace injury. Today, in Nova Scotia, about 75% of workers have WCB coverage. 

Through a number of conversations over the coming weeks, we’re looking forward to learning more about those workplaces that do not have coverage in place.
