The Annual Meeting for Nova Scotia’s Workplace Safety and Insurance System (WSIS) will be held this year via webinar, and is open to everyone. If you would like to learn more about how the WSIS supports improved injury prevention and return to work outcomes, join us on Thursday, September 10th, starting at 9:30 a.m.
Co-hosted by Rodney Burgar, Chair of WCB Nova Scotia Board of Directors, and Duff Montgomerie, Deputy Minister of the Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Advanced Education, the meeting will share the System’s performance and achievements in 2019.
This year’s guest speaker is John Garth MacDonald, an Advanced Care Paramedic from Antigonish who was diagnosed with PTSD after twenty years on the job.
Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a question and answer session with all of the System partners.
