Update on PayDirect processing at Shoppers

Last week we advised you that Shoppers Drug Mart was no longer using PayDirect as a result of their negotiations with Medavie Blue Cross.

Late on Friday, March 5, 2010, we received word from Medavie that a tentative agreement between Medavie and Shoppers has been reached. 

This means you should not experience any disruption in service and can continue to have your WCB related prescriptions paid for without any out of pocket expense to you.

If there are any changes we will let you know or you can check the WCB website www.wcb.ns.ca or www.medavie.bluecross.ca for updates.  In the meantime, if you have any questions about how to fill your prescriptions please contact us at 1-800-870-3331.
