About

Angus Bonnyman, CPA, CA, ICD.D, is the Chief Executive Officer with The AC Group of Independent Accounting Firms Limited. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Acadia University. He also earned his ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors through the Rotman School of Business. 

Angus is an experienced and goal-oriented director, successful business owner, and talented and respected lecturer. Previously, he was the Executive Director of the Christmas Tree Council of Nova Scotia (CTCNS), and subsequently managed the levy compliance program for CTCNS. He was a member of the faculty at Saint Mary’s University as a Lecturer of Accounting from September 2013 – June 2016.

Angus was appointed Treasurer of the Public Accountants’ Board of Nova Scotia in July 2013, and has served as Treasurer of The Marguerite Centre, Nova Scotia’s first recovery house for women recovering from addictions and abuse.  

Angus spends his time between Halifax and Tatamagouche, where he is actively involved in the family business of growing wild blueberries and managing woodlands.
