As part of regular increases in the costs of delivering services, the WCB has increased its fees to hospitals by 3%.

This adjustment was retroactive to January 2008, and was coordinated in a two-step process. The first step was completed December 19, 2008 and the final step will be completed on March 6, 2009. Some employers may see minor adjustments to their claim costs.
