North American Occupational Health
and Safety
(NAOSH) Week is May 6-12, and is dedicated to highlighting the
importance of preventing injury and illness in the workplace, at home and in
the community.
This year’s theme is “Making Safety a Habit: People,
Purpose, Passion”
– values that are reflected in the WCB’s own mission to
keep Nova Scotians safe and secure from workplace injury.
“NAOSH week is an excellent
opportunity to demonstrate your commitment to being a safety champion in your
workplace,” says Stuart MacLean, CEO WCB Nova Scotia. “I encourage you to
participate in the events near you.”
