June 18, 2008 - The WCB is pleased to support the Threads of Life by helping them hold their first-ever Family Forum in Nova Scotia.

A national organization, Threads of Life supports families that have experienced a workplace fatality, serious injury or life-threatening illness or disease. They are also committed to preventing workplace tragedies.

The weekend event begins with a Reflections Ceremony followed by sessions and workshops that allow participants to share, network and ultimately, heal. More than 75 Nova Scotians will participate in this inaugural event at Oak Island Resort, June 20 – 22.
