Continued progress toward a safety culture: Q2 Operational Results

At the half-way mark of 2012, Nova Scotia continued to see progress in its safety culture. In particular, the injury rate stood at 1.93 time-loss injuries per 100 covered employees, and there were also improvements with regard to return-to-work, and in the long-term impact of workplace injury on Nova Scotians.

These operational results are driving reductions in the human and financial toll that workplace injury takes in our province. The efforts of many safety leaders, service providers, workers and employers across Nova Scotia are contributing to this trend.
