Conference helps people achieve 'visible results'


WCB and Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Advanced Education are sponsors of Safety Services Nova Scotia’s 32nd Annual Workplace Safety Conference being held March 26 and 27 at the Westin Nova Scotian.

About 500 frontline supervisors, JOHS Committee members, safety representatives and managers from organizations all over the province gather at this flagship safety event to hear speakers share solutions and knowledge.

Labour and Advanced Education Minister Kelly Regan will open the conference at a breakfast Tuesday, March 26th. Stuart MacLean, CEO of WCB and Sandra McKenzie, Deputy Minister, Labour and Advanced Education (LAE) will present an update on the Workplace Safety Strategy.

Also on the conference agenda are six sessions co-hosted by representatives from WCB and LAE.  Full conference program.

Delegates are also encouraged to visit our interactive and engaging booth where WCB and LAE reps will be talking safety and handing out information and materials about the Workplace Safety Strategy.
