Systems Upgrade – WCB Online and MyAccount offline from 4:30 p.m. May 30 until June 6

UPDATE: June 6, 2 p.m. - As you know, we have been transitioning to our new claims and assessment systems. We are taking the time to get it right, and WCB Online and MyAccount remain offline.

In preparation for the launch of our new core operating systems, WCB Online and MyAccount will be offline from 4:30 p.m. Thursday, May 30 until Thursday, June 6.

During those days, employers may fax injury reports to us, where they will be held in queue until our systems are back up.

If you prefer to report digitally, you can simply wait until our systems are back online. Late reporting fines will not apply.

Please call us if you have any questions about this or other WCB business.

MyAccount users and Tiered Service Providers will receive an email sharing specific steps that should be taken prior to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, May 30. More information can also be found on our What’s Changing for Employers and What’s Changing for Service Providers pages.

Workers scheduled to receive payments on or before June 7 will receive these a little earlier – either on or before May 31. More information can also be found on our What’s Changing for Workers page.

This is an exciting time for WCB Nova Scotia, and the launch of our new systems marks a major milestone in our modernization and overall business transformation. We thank you for your patience as we work towards a new and improved WCB Nova Scotia.
