WCB Nova Scotia has agreements with homecare specialists to provide care to injured workers at home. Home care needs may be varied and thus WCBS considers the following professionals groups under this umbrella: LPN, RN, CCA, PCW, footcare specialists, home support workers.

Nurse Practitioners

A registered nurse whose name appears on the nurse practitioner roster pursuant to the Registered Nurses Regulations (2006).

WCB NOVA SCOTIA has letters of agreement with individual nurse practitioners in Nova Scotia. NPs  must be recognized as an NP under  the College of Registered Nurses of Nova Scotia

NPS are required to fully complete and submit the Physician Report Form 8/10 for each visit and to ensure the NP designation is clearly outlined in the signature section of the form
