WCB Nova Scotia is committed to protecting workers from the impact of workplace injury. That includes ensuring they receive appropriate, safe, and best-practice care from health services providers.  That care plays a critical role in supporting workers and their families after workplace injury, as they work toward recovery, with safe, healthy work part of that process wherever possible.
 
It’s the WCB’s responsibility to ensure it’s appropriately managed, and providing value to the employers and workers the organization serves. Sometimes, it is unfortunately necessary to terminate a relationship with a health services provider. 

This business decision can be made for a number of reasons, pursuant to the contracts WCB has with these providers. Read more about delisting health service providers.
