WCB November Performance (Dec. 9/25)

In November, more Nova Scotians went home safe, stayed connected to their workplaces, and returned to the things that matter most. Our provincial injury rate continued its steady decline to another record low – resulting in nearly 500 more people going home injury-free.

We’re also seeing faster, safer recoveries when injuries do happen, as we reached the lowest number of time-loss days paid ever. That represents thousands of workdays regained – days spent caring for others, building homes and roads, and running local businesses.

“Through our collaborative injury prevention plan, Safer Workplaces Together, we’re uniting the prevention system around shared priorities for Nova Scotians,” says Shelly Dauphinee, Chief Engagement Officer. “The strategy officially launched on November 27, but our partners have been working together all year to deliver results like this – fewer injuries, stronger recoveries, and more people going home safe.”

Progress like this doesn’t just move the numbers. It changes lives – one workplace, one family, one recovery at a time.
