Every number we track tells a story about a Nova Scotian who went home safely, recovered faster, or received the support they needed when it mattered most.
That’s the work we do. And our latest results show us that we continue to make real progress, as we near the midpoint of 2026.
In fact, we’ve already met our goals for the year. We’ve got the lowest time-loss injury rate, ever. And return to work keeps improving, especially in the early days after someone is hurt at work.
But, we know there’s also an untold story.
We know people are still off work longer, overall, than in other parts of Canada. And we know they’re more likely to go to long term benefits. And there’s always room to improve when it comes to being there for our customers when they need us.
"These results reflect how far we've come and remind us how far we still need to go," says Godfrey Jerry, Chief Operating Officer.
"Together, we're changing the system through shared accountability and everyone doing their part to keep Nova Scotians safe and working. Transformation is a path, and we're still on it. We've made real strides toward our 2030 goals, but getting there means we need to keep doing things differently.”
