What to do when injured at work
- Get medical help right away if needed, and tell your supervisor as soon as possible.
- For sprains or strains, see a WCB-approved physiotherapist or chiropractor for an assessment—the first assessment is covered.
- Talk with your employer about safe work options or modified duties so return-to-work planning can start immediately.
- Complete the WCB injury report with your employer.
