Brad Fraser AVP, Governance and Legal

During his 23-year career with WCB Nova Scotia, Brad Fraser has been a trusted strategic governance advisor and an important voice on the senior leadership team.

In his current role as Associate Vice President, Governance and Legal, Brad serves the WCB’s board of directors, its committees and the executive management team, and provides strategic oversight for the Legal Services team. He is accountable for ensuring the organization adopts and maintains strong governance principles and practices on behalf of its stakeholders. In a review of those governance practices, the Auditor General noted that those practices were excellent, with minimal recommendations for improvement.
 

Brad’s roles at the WCB have spanned across the organization, from policy development to service delivery, establishing his appreciation for the importance of strong leadership grounded in the organization’s mission to keep Nova Scotians safe and secure from workplace injury.
