It’s a big week for WCB Nova Scotia. That’s because the WCB’s first-ever Chief Technology Officer, Gaëtan Boudreau has arrived, bringing a wealth of experience guiding teams and organizations through transformative technological change. Gaëtan joins the WCB having successfully served in IT leadership roles at major international businesses and organizations including Fundserv, CIBC, Emergis (now Telus Health), and the Clinical Research Institute of Montreal.

Gaëtan’s vast knowledge and experience, along with fresh thinking and approaches, will help the WCB leverage technology in a manner that enables our strategic plan goals, especially our goals to prevent workplace injuries, reduce days lost to injury, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Gaëtan has relocated to Halifax. While his career has taken him to several provinces across Canada, this will be his first time living and working in Nova Scotia.
