WCB to reopen offices July 2 for PMI appointments only in Halifax and Sydney (June 26/20)

Like many workplaces across the province, WCB Nova Scotia is gradually beginning to reopen our offices and offer some in-person services that were postponed, in a safe way. First among them being Permanent Medical Impairment (PMI) assessments.

On July 2, by appointment only, we’re pleased to be reinstating onsite PMI assessments.

In accordance with public health, we have adapted our processes to ensure everyone’s health and safety. Workers will be screened for symptoms of COVID-19 and recent travel, both in the call to confirm the appointment and again in person when they arrive, and given the appropriate personal protective equipment.

Please note that WCB offices remain closed for daily access to the public, and you will be not be able to access onsite services, unless you have an appointment for a PMI assessment. MyAccount and WCB Online are available 24/7, and as always, you can call us at 1-800-870-3331 during regular business hours.

WCB Nova Scotia is committed to protecting the health and safety of our employees, and those we serve. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we adapted our operations during these past three months.
