B) Policy 1.3.6. (rescinded):

On April 03, 2019, the Workers’ Compensation Board of Nova Scotia (the WCB) put the recommendation to rescind Policy 1.3.6 Compensability of Stress as an Injury out of and in the Course of Employment - GECA out for public consultation. This consultation closed on May 31, 2019.

As per the regular policy consultation process, the relevant documents were sent to key stakeholders and were placed publically on the WCB website for the duration of the consultation.

There was no feedback received in response to this consultation and Policy 1.3.6 Compensability of Stress as an Injury out of and in the Course of Employment - GECA will be rescinded, effective June 27, 2019.
