WCB sponsoring upcoming Chamber talk on strengthening Nova Scotia's workforce (Nov. 3/25)

WCB Nova Scotia is proud to sponsor the Halifax Chamber of Commerce’s upcoming luncheon, “Building a Barrier-Free Nova Scotia: Safe and Ready for Work" on Nov. 18.

The event will bring together business and community leaders to explore how Nova Scotia is leading the way in removing interprovincial barriers while advancing safer, more inclusive workplaces.

WCB CEO Karen Adams will deliver opening remarks, highlighting how WCB and the Department of Labour, Skills and Immigration are working together to prevent workplace injuries and strengthen accountability across the system.

“Collaboration is key to building a stronger, safer Nova Scotia,” says Adams. “By working together across the system, we can break down barriers, support safer workplaces, and help more people get back to work after an injury.”
