2026 Operational Plan raises expectations for performance and service
The 2026 Operational Plan is now available. It outlines the priorities and performance targets that will guide our work in the year ahead based on the Protect More Strategic Plan (2024–2030).
Strong results in 2025 have enabled us to raise performance targets for 2026. The updated key performance indicators (KPIs) emphasize timely and consistent service, stronger injury prevention, and safe, timely return to work. The plan also highlights internal improvements that will make our systems safer and more secure.
We have changed. We act sooner, hold ourselves and others accountable, and focus on impacts that make a real difference. The 2026 Operational Plan reflects our continued focus on delivering results and outcomes that matter to Nova Scotians.
