2027 Employer Assessment Rates Are Now Available in MyAccount
Employers can now access their 2027 assessment rate and full experience rating statement by navigating to the Forms & Letters tab on MyAccount.
For the first time in a generation, the average employer assessment rate is being reduced in 2027 to $2.25 per $100 of assessable payroll. This rate reduction will put $75 million back into Nova Scotia's economy, helping employers across the province reinvest, grow, and support their people.
This decrease to the average assessment rate means that all employers will be paying less than they would have without the rate cut.
Individual rates are then adjusted based on a workplace’s cost and payroll history. Some industries also pay levies to safety associations, and a small number pay surcharges.
Employers can view their rate by logging into MyAccount and clicking the Forms and Letters tab. If you’re not yet registered, sign up today at wcb.ns.ca. For assistance, call us at 1-800-870-3331. If you use a payroll service provider, please notify them of your 2027 rate.
