In April, we pause to remember those who have lost their lives or been seriously injured because of their work.
22 Nova Scotian families were forever changed by workplace tragedies in 2025. The Day of Mourning is a time to honour their lives and renew our collective commitment to creating safer, healthier workplaces for everyone. A single life lost is one too many.
Last week’s tragedy is a sobering reminder that behind every number is a person, family, and community facing unspeakable loss.
