Recruitment Underway for WCB Nova Scotia Board Chair
Recruitment is underway for the next Chair of our Board of Directors, led by executive search firm, Royer Thompson.
We’re halfway through our Protect More Strategic Plan and we’ve made significant progress. Workplace injury rates are at their lowest on record, outcomes are improving for people recovering from workplace injury, and we’ve reached our strongest financial position ever.
Our next Chair will help guide us as we build on that progress to shape what comes next, toward 2030 and beyond. It’s a role that calls for strong governance, sound judgement, collaboration, and the ability to bring different perspectives together.
It’s an opportunity to help shape the future of an organization that plays an important role in the lives of workers, employers, and families across Nova Scotia.
The Chair is appointed by the Governor in Council for a five-year term and may be reappointed for a second term.
