WCB raises $12,065 in support of Threads of Life

Seeing our team come together to support families affected by workplace tragedy makes us truly proud. Through a variety of fundraising initiatives in 2026, we’ve raised $12,065 for Threads of Life, a national charity supporting families affected by workplace fatalities, life-altering injuries, and occupational diseases. It’s a cause that’s close to our hearts and deeply personal for many.

From raffles, donations, auctions, and BBQ fundraisers to participating in the annual Steps for Life Walk and donating registration funds from corporate events, we’re incredibly grateful to everyone at WCB who helped make this fundraising effort possible.

Every dollar donated supports the Threads of Life mission to help families navigate grief and find a path forward. We’re also proud to sponsor the Atlantic Family Forum, which brings together families affected by workplace tragedy to share, network, and heal.

Together, these efforts reinforce our commitment to a future where Nova Scotians are more protected from workplace injury than they are today.
