Health care service providers are vital partners in helping workers continue working, or recover and return to work early and safely. We work with more than 300 providers across the province—clinics, physicians, and specialists—so workers can access the right care at the right time.

Work Connected Recovery Program
Starting in January 2026, WCB is establishing the Work Connected Recover Program. A new network for providers to deliver care quickly and more consistently to people with physical and psychological workplace injuries. Lifemark will administer the program in partnership with WCB.
All current providers are invited to apply to join the network.

In addition to Work Connected Recovery, we support care through specialized programs and tools that reduce admin effort and help you focus on treatment.

- Early musculoskeletal (MSK) triage: Direct Access to Early Assessment.

For physicians
Physicians are central to recovery and return to work. They diagnose, manage care, document progress, define functional abilities and restrictions, and coordinate with the care team to keep treatment and work plans on track.
