His career is marked by his leadership at Manulife, Canada’s largest group disability insurer, where he spearheaded large teams to deliver timely and effective case management, resulting in best-in-class claim outcomes. Before transitioning to WCB Nova Scotia, Godfrey held the position of Head of Group Life, Individual Disability, and Federal Operations at Manulife, showcasing his expertise and dedication to the field.

As the Chief Operating Officer at WCB, Godfrey is responsible for overseeing the organization's day-to-day operations. His role is pivotal in ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and quality in service delivery. A key member of the executive leadership team, Godfrey collaborates on developing and implementing strategic plans that enhance operational efficiency, leveraging technology and streamlining processes. His commitment to improving the digital service experience and driving operational excellence aligns with the organization's goals of delivering exceptional service and achieving Return to Work (RTW) targets as outlined in the Strategic Plan.
