As Chief People Officer, Marcy provides strategic leadership and direction, advancing all aspects of the WCB’s Human Resources, Communications, Marketing & Partnerships, Policy development (for policies arising from the Workers’ Compensation Act and Regulations) and the service of the WCB’s Client Relations Officer.

Throughout her 18 years as a leader with the WCB, Marcy has worked to position the organization for long-term success. Most recently, Marcy served as Associate VP, Strategy and Technology, where she provided strategic leadership for the Corporate Development, Partnerships and Policy, Enterprise Architecture and Information Technology teams. Marcy also worked closely with our government partners to support the review of the WCB, listening and learning from the perspectives and experience of those we serve, to inform a better future.

Marcy is driven by the principles of accountability, customer service and collaborative decision making that are hallmarks within the WCB’s new Strategic Plan. As a customer-centric leader, Marcy works collaboratively with senior business leaders to identify opportunities to achieve business objectives, innovate in the delivery of programs and services and improve operational performance. She’s known for asking tough questions, challenging the status quo, and enabling others to be better at what they do.
