Make Safety a Habit – Celebrating 20 Years of NAOSH Week (May 5/17)

Twenty years ago, a week was dedicated to occupational health and safety in North America. North American Occupational Safety and Health (NAOSH) Week was established through NAFTA talks between Canada, Mexico and the United States.

Two decades later, workplace safety continues to have a place in the spotlight, and not just for one week of the year, but for the other 51 as well.

NAOSH Week is a great time for employers to highlight occupational health and safety in their organizations, and continue conversations that keep the topic fresh and top-of-mind for everyone.

WCB Nova Scotia offers workers and employers a number of great resource materials on injury prevention. For videos, downloadable posters, workplace activities, and tips on safety leadership, visit our dedicated website for information.
