While fewer Nova Scotians are getting injured on the job today, it’s taking longer than ever for them to return to work when injury does occur. Everyone has a role to play in helping workers make safe and timely returns, and strong employer planning is essential to that success.

As part of our Safety & Health Week programming and resources for 2021, WCB Nova Scotia is offering a free webinar for employers who are in the early stages of developing a return-to-work program, or who want to refresh the ones they may already have in place.

On May 5, join Workplace Consultant Mason MacDonald as he takes you through:

  • The current return-to-work challenges and opportunities in Nova Scotia
  • The human impact and business case for developing return-to-work programs
  • Success stories from some of Nova Scotia’s top employers
  • Tools, resources and best-practice approaches to make your program stick

As a Workplace Consultant with WCB Nova Scotia, Mason MacDonald coaches workplaces to protect lives and reduce the human and financial toll of workplace injury through specific strategies and tactics that influence people, pathways, and processes within the organizations. Prior to joining the WCB in 2016, Mason utilized his Kinesiology degree from Acadia University working with injured workers in rehabilitation clinics and interfacing with employers and the WCB to help Nova Scotians get back to work after injury.
