NSGEU Local 55 accepts WCB offer

NSGEU Local 55 has accepted WCB Nova Scotia’s latest offer, which will lead to a new collective agreement for employees.

With this agreement, we can continue modernizing the workers' compensation system and delivering on our Protect More Strategic Plan. 

It will help us keep our commitment to provide exceptional service to the workers and employers of Nova Scotia.

Thanks to the work of our valued employees, we have made progress in recent years. We now have the lowest injury rate on record, more Nova Scotians are staying connected to work after injury, worker benefits have improved, and we have announced the first employer rate cut in a generation. 

But there's more work ahead. We are just getting started. Our focus remains on serving the Nova Scotians who count on us.
