WCB Nova Scotia and Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Advanced Education (LAE) are Strategic Partners sponsors of Safety Services Nova Scotia’s (SSNS) 33rd Annual Workplace Health and Safety Conference being held March 22-24, 2015 at the World Trade and Convention Centre. This year's theme is "Cutting edge safety - new challenges, new people, new approaches."

 

About 500 front line supervisors, JOHS Committee members, safety representatives and managers from organizations all over the province gather at this flagship safety event to hear speakers share solutions and knowledge.

Labour and Advanced Education Minister Kelly Regan will open the conference at a breakfast Monday, March 23th. Stuart MacLean, CEO of WCB and Duff Montgomerie, Deputy Minister, Labour and Advanced Education will present an update on the Workplace Safety Strategy.

Also on the conference agenda are six sessions co-hosted by representatives from WCB and LAE.  Full conference program.
