WCB spreads holiday cheer at Nova Scotia Hospital

Thanks to the generosity of WCB employees, and the hard work of the Legal Services team, the annual bake, chilli and chowder sale was a great success, raising $1,735 for the Nova Scotia Hospital.

The Hospital plans on using the funds for Music Therapy and Equestrian Assisted Therapy for clients on Transition Hall and Simpson Landing. These are individuals living with complex health needs (mental, physical, coping challenges) whose current requirements cannot be supported with the existing community resources. This type of therapy is a very successful form of treatment, but unfortunately limited in availability.
