WCB website improvements to provide better service

Our corporate website plays a key role in how we serve our customers. The goal of WCB’s revised corporate website is to provide better service to those who visit, by helping them find what they need more easily – while also promoting workplace safety, return to work, and the management of injury’s impact on our province.

There are changes to how information is organized and accessed, based directly on testing and surveys with site users.  The new site design provides an intuitive user experience, and is also fully responsive to conform to different screen sizes, such as mobile devices.

We are confident that the new site will improve our interactions with all of those we serve.

Other improvements include:

  • Navigation and menus provide easier access to information most relevant to you, the user
  • Faster homepage access to most frequently accessed pages for Workers, Employers and Health Service Providers
  • Improved naming of pages to make it easier to find what you need
  • Larger, easy to read fonts and type

    Finally, the most popular links on our site have been mapped and should update automatically to the new location. In other words, links, bookmarks, and favourites should continue to work.
