WCB Named One of Canada's Top 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures (Dec. 2/16)

WCB Nova Scotia has been named one of Canada’s Top 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures in the public sector.

The national program, sponsored by Waterstone Human Capital, annually recognizes best-in-class Canadian organizations for having cultures that enhance performance and sustain competitive advantage. WCB Nova Scotia was named in the category of Broader Public Sector and was the only organization from Atlantic Canada in that group. Other public sector workplaces honoured include the Canadian Mental Health Association, the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, and the Victoria Hospitals Foundation.

WCB employees across Nova Scotia are dedicated to building a culture of safety, and to supporting those who are injured safely return to work whenever possible.

WCB Nova Scotia was also given the honour in 2013. Organizations are scored in six categories: vision and leadership, recruitment and hiring for fit, cultural alignment and measurement, retention, rewards and recognition, organizational performance and corporate social responsibility.
