WCB Nova Scotia seeking stakeholder input on policy revisions (July 21/21)

WCB Nova Scotia is currently seeking stakeholder input on a range of proposed policy clarifications through open consultations.

As part of our efforts to reduce the impact of workplace injury in our province, the first consultation covers proposals to clarify the WCB’s policies related to re-employment after a workplace injury, and make the process easier to understand for workers and employers.  These revisions are just one of the ways the WCB is doing its part to enable safe and timely return to work as the number of days lost from work due to injury has reached an all-time high.

The second consultation covers general “housekeeping” and revisions on a range of WCB policies to ensure they are accurate, up-to-date, relevant, and reflective of current terminology and language.

To participate in the consultations, please send your feedback to the respective policy advisors noted within the documents or email policy@wcb.ns.ca. Both consultations will remain open for input until September 30, 2021.
