We’re upgrading our sign-in process with multi-factor authentication (MFA) to better protect your account and personal information.

What's changing?

We’re strengthening the sign-in process for WCB Online for workers and MyAccount for employers to better protect your account and personal information. This upgrade is part of our ongoing efforts to maintain secure, reliable online services for workers and employers across Nova Scotia.

What to know

Before April 27: You can sign in as usual, using your email and password.

When you log in for the first time after April 27: The login page will look different, and you’ll need to reset your password and set up MFA before you can access your account. Learn more about resetting your password below. 

How to reset your password after April 27

All you need to do is click “Forgot Password” to set a new password.

Steps to change password

  • Enter your email address
  • Click Next
  • Select Forgot Password
  • Click ‘Email code to’ (note your email address will be partially hidden)
  • Go to your email to get the one time code
  • Enter the code and select Verify
  • Enter your new password, and re-enter it to confirm
  • Click reset password
  • Your password is now reset, complete the MFA steps one more time to login
