WCB Nova Scotia Enhances Online Security with Multi-Factor Authentication

WCB Nova Scotia has upgraded the sign-in process for WCB Online and MyAccount, effective May 11, 2026. The update includes multi-factor authentication (MFA) to strengthen account security and better protect the personal information of workers and employers across Nova Scotia.

What users need to know
The first time you sign in, select "Forgot Password" to set a new password, even if you remember your current one. From there, you will be guided through resetting your password and setting up multi-factor authentication (MFA) before accessing your account.

Going forward, you will enter a verification code each time you log in, an added layer of security to help keep your information safe.
