WCB protects Nova Scotia’s workforce. We are the province’s provider of workplace injury insurance. Every day, we prevent workplace injury. When it happens, we support those whose lives it touches, and champion an early and safe return to work.
In 2023, the WCB Board of Directors prioritized updating the Permanent Medical Impairment (PMI) policies and conducted a two-stage consultation process with stakeholders. The proposed revisions aim to align with current medical guidelines, simplify existing policies, and standardize language across the Policy Manual.
