Earlier in September, the Governor in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Labour, Skills and Immigration, appointed two new members to the WCB Nova Scotia Board of Directors. New members include Jenna Brookfield, National Representative for CUPE in the Atlantic Region and Tim McInnis, a former WCB Nova Scotia employee with 33 years of service in the workers’ compensation system, both as new worker representatives. In addition, Janet Hazelton and Blair Richards were reappointed as worker representative members for a term of two years.
The WCB thanks Rick Clarke for his dedicated service to the Board as a worker representative member.
The WCB Board of Directors is comprised of four employer representatives, four worker representatives, a Chair and Deputy Chair. The Board is responsible for representing stakeholder viewpoints while considering the interests of the WCB and the system overall.
