Mary Anne Campbell, General Counsel

Mary Anne comes to us from the Nova Scotia Health Authority (NSHA), where she served as Associate General Counsel, advising senior and executive leadership and overseeing the Clinical and Corporate Legal Services team. Before joining NSHA in 2014, she practiced law with Stewart McKelvey and Bell Aliant.

Born and raised in Cape Breton, Mary Anne earned her law degree from the University of New Brunswick and was called to the bar in 2004. A dedicated lifelong learner, she recently completed her Master of Laws at Osgoode Hall Law School, York University.

She will join the Executive Leadership Team, leading the Policy, Internal Appeals, and Legal teams and contributing to the organization’s approach to complex legislative and regulatory matters.

Mary Anne’s strong public-sector legal experience will be invaluable as we advance our strategic plan.
