Dennita Fitzpatrick VP, Prevention and Return to Work

As Vice President, Prevention and Return to Work, Dennita Fitzpatrick leads the teams who work to strengthen Nova Scotia’s workplace safety culture and prevent injuries before they happen, and the teams who help individuals return to work when they do. 

During her 17 years with WCB Nova Scotia, Dennita has demonstrated her passion for collaboration and strategic thinking in a wide range of positions at the senior leadership level, including director portfolios in Service Excellence, Health and Extended Benefits, and Business Transformation. She recently was operational leader on the organization’s business transformation, which included the replacement of its core operating systems and processes. Her breadth of experience at the WCB gives her a comprehensive understanding of the business and the opportunities that await. 

Prior to joining WCB Nova Scotia, Dennita had a progressive 18-year career in private industry information technology and consulting services.
