WCB Nova Scotia welcomes new VP, Psychological Injury and Continuous Improvement (Mar. 24/25)

WCB Nova Scotia is pleased to announce Mark Roach as the new Vice President of Psychological Injury and Continuous Improvement.

Most recently, Mark was at Sun Life in Calgary, where he spent over 12 years expanding the company’s disability brand in Western Canada and growing the team from 60 to over 160 employees. He strengthened client relationships, established leadership across multiple offices, and built a national team of mental health experts to enhance the disability product and drive client retention and revenue growth.

During his time at Sun Life, he also led educational sessions on workplace mental health, engaged with healthcare professionals to improve disability adjudication, and played a key role in Sun Life’s continued recognition for excellence in Disability Management and Mental Health.

Mark will provide strategic leadership to WCB’s psychological injury teams, ensuring efficient processes, exceptional care, and strong return-to-work outcomes as outlined in our Strategic Plan. We look forward to him joining us on April 7 to begin his new career.
